Matthew D. Stokely has joined the firm. Practicing for over 20 years, Matt works with both employers and employees with all types of employment matters including discrimination, wrongful discharge, contract negotiations, severance agreements, wage and hour laws and all other state and federal laws that govern the employment relationship. Matt has extensive experience in drafting employee handbooks and training supervisors on sexual harassment and compliance with federal employment laws. He has also aggressively defended employers in State and Federal Courts before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. Matt received his Juris Doctor from Quinnipac College of Law, Hamden, Connecticut in 1986. He was admitted to the Connecticut State Bar in 1986, the New York State Bar in 1987, and the Ohio State Bar in 1993. He is a certified specialist in the practice of Labor and Employment Law by Ohio State Bar Association.
