Matt is a Shareholder and Chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment Department, with over 35 years of experience advising and representing public and private employers. He handles matters under the FMLA, Title VII and state anti-discrimination laws, ADEA, ADA, FLSA, NLRA, and workers’ compensation retaliation, in courts, before arbitrators, and with administrative agencies.
He provides day-to-day counseling on compliance, drafts and updates employee handbooks, trains supervisors on employment laws, and has extensive experience in collective bargaining and civil service matters across a variety of industries.
