Bio

A native of Tipp City, Katie Wahl joined Pickrel Schaeffer and Ebeling Co., LPA in May 2018.  In her practice, Katie focuses on business and corporate law, as well as estate planning, probate (including estate administration and guardianships) and Medicaid planning.

After serving as a complex business litigator for eight years, Katie transitioned her practice to her current focus.  As a corporate and business lawyer, Katie assists clients with the formation of new entities and businesses,  the sale or purchase of businesses, as well as general corporate work such as drafting contracts, terms and conditions, and other agreements. Katie seeks to learn and understand the client’s business and related industry so that her advice and counsel is tailored to unique issues impacting the business and client.  This philosophy is especially important in working with family-owned businesses as they plan for transition to the next generation.

Katie also has extensive experience in working with non-profit entities to obtain and maintain their non-profit status. Katie encourages these clients to explore all structures and affiliations that will best serve their short and long term strategies.
