Bio

A native of Tipp City, Katie Wahl joined Pickrel Schaeffer and Ebeling Co., LPA in May 2018.  In her practice, Katie focuses on business and corporate law, as well as estate planning, probate (including estate administration and guardianships) and Medicaid planning.

After serving as a complex business litigator for eight years, Katie transitioned her practice to her current focus.  As a corporate and business lawyer, Katie has experience in forming new entities and assisting clients with the sale or purchase of a business, as well as drafting terms and conditions, contracts and other agreements.  In working with her business clients, Katie seeks to learn and understand the business and its related industry so that her advice and counsel is cognizant of nuances and unique issues that may impact that client.  This philosophy is especially important in working with family-owned businesses as they plan for transition to the next generation.

Katie also has extensive experience in working with non-profit entities to obtain and maintain their non-profit status. In working with these clients, Katie encourages them to explore all structures and affiliations that will best serve their short and long term strategies.
